Our Story

Wolff Botanicals Soap Co. actually started by total accident—born out of a simple need to find something that worked for my skin. A few years back, my favorite store-bought soap changed its ingredients, and suddenly the heavy scents were leaving my skin feeling bothered and dry. After searching high and low for a gentler option without success, I decided to try making my own using glycerin based melt-and-pour soap and some essential oils I had at home. After quite a bit of tinkering and a lot of patience, I scrapped that and discovered our signature three-butter soap base. The change was like night and day, and my skin finally felt healthy and soft again.

Since I had made quite a few extra bars during those early days, I gave some to a friend who loves all things handmade. She and her family were so impressed by how they felt that she actually nudged me to share them at a local fair. That first fair was so much fun, it led us to our local farmers' markets. It has been such a wonderful, organic journey getting to where we are today. What started as a personal project in my kitchen has grown into a small community of folks who value simple, kind ingredients just as much as I do.
