Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made from Wolff Botanicals Soap Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website, online store, markets, and other authorized sales channels.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to any rights you have under applicable Canadian and Alberta law.

1. Products

​

We sell handmade personal-care products, including soaps, bath bombs, body washes, and related cosmetic products.

Products may vary slightly in:

• Colour;

• Shape;

• Texture;

• Scent intensity; and

• Appearance

because of the handmade nature of our products.

These variations do not necessarily indicate a defect.

2. Product Descriptions

​

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes, ingredients, and other information are accurate.

However, colours displayed on different screens may vary from the physical product.

​

We do not make claims that are intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease or medical condition.

​

Cosmetic advertising and labelling claims must be accurate and not misleading, and therapeutic claims can cause a product to fall outside the cosmetic category.

3. Prices

​

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

​

Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be identified during checkout where applicable.

​

We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors. If an error materially affects an order, we will contact the customer before fulfilling the order.

4. Orders

​

An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and we have confirmed the order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

• A product is unavailable;

• There is an obvious pricing or listing error;

• We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity; or

• A product cannot safely or legally be supplied.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Product Safety

​

Our products are intended to be used only for their stated cosmetic purpose and according to their directions.

​

Do not ingest products. Avoid contact with the eyes.

​

Keep products away from children and only use under adult supervsion.

​

Discontinue use if irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs.

​

Canadian law prohibits the sale of cosmetics containing substances that may injure health when used according to their directions or customary use.

6. Ingredient Information

​

Bath product ingredients are identified using the applicable INCI (International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient) names.

Customers should review the complete ingredient list before use.

7. Intellectual Property

​

All original photographs, logos, product names, written content, graphics, website content, and other materials belonging to Wolff Botanicals Soap Co. may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

​

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any right, remedy, warranty, or protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Canadian or Alberta law.

​

Alberta's Consumer Protection Act provides statutory protections that consumers cannot waive by contract.

​

9. Changes to These Terms

​

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

​

The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when the order was placed, subject to applicable law.

10. Governing Law

​

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.

ALLERGY & SKIN-REACTION DISCLAIMER

Our products are made for external use only and are intended to be used according to their labels and directions. Please read the complete ingredient list before using any product.

​

Bath product ingredients can cause irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals, even when the product is properly formulated and used according to its directions. Products containing essential oils, botanical ingredients, colourants, or other naturally derived ingredients may not be appropriate for everyone.

Before Using a New Product

​

If you have known allergies, sensitivities, highly reactive skin, or concerns about an ingredient, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before using the product.

If you have questions about ingredients, please contact us before purchasing.

​

If a Reaction Occurs

​

Stop using the product immediately.

​

If you experience a serious reaction or medical emergency, seek appropriate medical attention.

​

For a non-emergency reaction, contact us so that we can document and investigate the incident.

​

We may request the product, packaging, batch information, photographs, and details about how the product was used.

We do not represent that our products are:

• Hypoallergenic;

• Allergy-proof;

• Irritant-free;

• Suitable for every skin type; or

• Appropriate for individuals with every allergy or sensitivity.

Unless specifically substantiated and legally appropriate, we also do not make medical or therapeutic claims about our products.
